Criteria

(1) Institutional Membership and (3) Life Membership

· Having good academic reputation;

· Having strong commitment in TCM;

· Having strong spirit of sharing technologies for the development of TCM;

· Willing to sharing information;

· Willing to contribute to the Consortium and actively participate in its activities and discussions;

· To be in favor by half of the member institutes who have the right to vote at the executive council meeting.

· Applicable for the institute members

(2) Industrial Affiliate Membership

· Having good track record in the industry;

· Being contributive to the research and development of TCM and herbal medicine;

· Willing to sharing information;

· Willing to contribute to the Consortium and actively participate in its activities and discussions;

· To be in favor by half of the member institutes who have the right to vote at the executive council meeting.

Rights

(1) Institutional Membership and (3) Life Membership

· Attend the annual meeting of the Consortium and enjoy registration fee discount / waiver*;

· Attend the close-door meeting as a voting member;

· Have password-protected access to the Consortium intranet;

· Network with Consortium members and guests.

(2) Industrial Affiliate Membership

· Attend the annual meeting of the Consortium;

· Attend the close-door meeting as a non-voting member;

· Have password-protected access to the Consortium intranet;

· Introduce products with scientific and evidence base information at Consortium Annual Meetings.


Responsibilities

(1) Institutional Membership

· Nominate one primary and one secondary representatives;

· Nominate representative(s) to join in the working groups, namely quality control, informatics, clinical and herbal resource;

· Attend the annual meeting of the Consortium at least once in two years;

· Collaborate and Interact with other members of the Consortium in their area of expertise;

· Pay an annual membership fee of USD500*.

(2) Industrial Affiliate Membership

· Nominate one primary and one secondary representatives;

· Attend the annual meeting of the Consortium at least once in two years;

· Collaborate and Interact with other members of the Consortium in their area of expertise;

· Pay an annual membership fee of USD10,000*.

(3) Life Membership

· Nominate one primary and one secondary representatives;

· Nominate representative(s) to join in the working groups, namely quality control, informatics, clinical and herbal resource;

· Attend the annual meeting of the Consortium at least once in two years;

· Collaborate and Interact with other members of the Consortium in their area of expertise;

· Membership fee for life membership is a one-off payment of USD5,000 for lifetime

*Only the members which paid the annual membership fee are eligible for 3 registration fee waiver quotas for the annual meeting of the Consortium.
